The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
