Cars in Germany's Town Discovered Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Officers stated they were contacted by a resident who discovered a car in Hanau covered with reddish substance

Approximately 50 automobiles have been marked with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau near Frankfurt, according to authorities.

Cars, exterior walls and postal boxes were vandalized, sometimes with prohibited symbols, they stated in a statement.

Law enforcement state they were contacted late on Wednesday evening, when a man discovered that a car in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish-hued substance.

The fluid had been placed in the shape of a swastika, they added.

Officers then found numerous other smeared cars and building exteriors in the surrounding area.

These symbols are banned in Germany under regulations prohibiting the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.

Police say early analysis suggest the substance was probably human bodily fluid.

"There is still no lead as to where it came from; investigators are not yet aware of any injuries in relation with the occurrence," they stated.

Municipal representatives said they were trying "to solve the case" and have appealed to the community for details.

An important political figure commented the vandalism made him stunned and had to be addressed promptly.

"This incident strikes at the core of Hanau and reopens the pain of the far-right terrorist attack in 2020," he wrote on a platform, recalling the death of nine people by a shooter aiming at residents of foreign heritage in 2020.
